Statement of Purpose
DeMeaux Belgian Malinois began as a small family owned kennel located in Northwest Ohio and was founded by Alan "Skip" DoMoe, who passed away from Cancer on December 21, 2008. Skip felt that his purpose as a responsible breeder was to maintain the integrity of the Belgian Malinois breed. Kim Yeager, an experienced sport competitor and proud owner of one of Skips dogs, now carries on the DeMeaux kennel name with the support of Skips wife, Sandra DoMoe.
Correct temperament, structurally sound, stable nerves and extreme drive are a few traits that a Belgian Malinois needs to perform in the working world. All of our dogs ancestors excel in programs such as Belgian Ring, NVBK, French Ring, Schutzhund, IPO, and KNPV.

Kim Yeager
The proudest moment in my life was the birth of my son. There is no stronger love than that for a child. The most memorable moment was the day I was diagnosed with cancer. Everyday I try to remember where I came from and it keeps me grounded and reminds me just how lucky I am. Having support from family and friends has given me the strength and courage to stay strong through even the toughest of times. For those of you who have fought the fight and won, congratulations and good luck. For those of you who have fought the fight and lost, you fought strong and hard. My thoughts and prayers go out to you as well as your family and friends.
I was born an animal lover and destined to be around animals. As a young girl I would walk all the dogs in my neighborhood for free just to be around them. At the age of twelve I began working for a neighbor who had two German Shepherds, from that moment on I was hooked. I began obedience training at the age of fourteen, schutzhund at eighteen, and at twenty nine, I began handling dogs in the conformation ring. I am currently a member of Fort Wayne Working Dog Association, 3 Rivers Working Dog Association, DVG, Schutzhund USA and train regularly with Michiana Working Dog Association. I am also working a young dog, “Quaid DeMeaux”, that I hope to compete in the year 2010. Dog training is my passion, hobby, and therapy, that gives me strength and relaxation.
